No to AI Generated Art

Adding my voice to the cause - At 'Art' is theft, AI 'Artists' are grifters and clout chasers, and I won't be posting any further work here until Artstation begins to protects artists.

As a professional and as a teacher I stand with my fellow artists - fellows professionals, aspiring, and hobbyists alike. Solidarity with you all.

Whether you earn a living from your art, aspire to do so, or simply enjoy the very human endeavour of creation and self-expression I support you. It's a depressing and impoverished view that sees the efficiency of an outcome as the only metric of value, and it's an impoverished worldview with dangerous consequences beyond the realm of art.

And to those using these applications, if you genuinely want to learn and grow as an artist, speak to us. We're happy to guide and assist you in what is a wonderful form of expression and personal development.
